THE Federal Trade Commission says that it has buried the hatchet with the adult dating site AdultFriendFinder. Users of the site, which claims to be the largest sex and swinging site in the world, used to get pelted with sexually explicit pop-ups when visting other sites. This was all a cunning plan to drive customers to more of the outfit's services. However complaints were made that the adverts were not exactly the sort of thing you wanted popping up all the time. AdultFriendFinder.com had engineered it so that the pop-ups would appear when you were searching for terms such as flowers and travel. According to Network World, the FTC also objected to the fact that adultfriendfinder's adverts were being distributed using spyware and adware. Under the terms of the settlement, the adult friend finder has promised not to display sexually explicit ads to consumers unless they have asked for them. The outfit also has to make sure that its partners follow these rules. Friends Blog Comment:
Friends blog is demystified! Adult friend finder is cashing on what our weakness is! But is it really a weakness of ours? Or is it a weakness of our society rules that force us to suppress our natural drives in our day-to-day life and then stealthily go to such sites as this one to satiate our starving instincts? Aren't we a victim to our own social discipline that has been forced upon us from outside? But where does this outside live? Isn't it there very much inside our own minds? Our minds are scared. And our minds are craving too. Our minds are scared of sex. Our minds are craving for sex. We are fighting a lost war! Aren't we? What's the way out?
