Business-News Blog: Business-Development News Work begins on business development: November 6, 2007 by Dr Graeme Whitfield  Work has begun on a state-of-the-art business-development in County Durham that could create dozens of new jobs on a blossoming industrial estate. B and K Developments is building 20 new business units at Meadowfield Industrial Estate near Durham City. The project, made possible after the company struck a deal to buy land from regional development agency One NorthEast, is the latest in a series of developments breathing new life into the estate. A One North East spokesman said: "Thanks to developments such as this, Meadowfield Industrial Estate is gradually building a reputation as one of the leading business locations in County Durham. "It continues to go from strength to strength and will play a vital role in the continued development of our region.” Business News Blog Comment: Business development is the key to human growth on earth. But then we have to be very cautious that our developmental activities aren't affecting ecology in a negative way. Also we have to take care that our balance of need versus demand is maintained, otherwise it's going to create a gap between the rich and the poor. Now what is the difference between a need and a demand? A need is a scientific gap between the availability and non-availability of a thing that keeps humanity healthy, whereas a demand MAY be merely a psychological one disturbing the health of the Gaia if pursued without abstinence. What do we need and what do we desire should match with each other or else there is a serious flaw in the way we are living our life that's going to doom it forever.
