Real value is delivering exactly what you are promising to deliver.
Not only as ingredients but also as the effect that the ingredients are supposed to be meant for.
Hair oils are meant for strengthening the roots of the hair and stopping them from falling through using certain ingredients in them.
You honestly added the ingredients that you mentioned on the package.
But did you take enough pains to objectively ascertain without a shadow of doubt whether the said ingredients really deliver the promised result or not?
No, you never did!
Who does?
All of us, selling products, depend on and quote the assertion of some pseudo authority in the field promising and/or predicting the said results from using the said ingredients as such.
We, as traders, are only packaging the said ingredients and distributing them where their demand is.
But aren't we, too, promising the said results through using the said ingredients that our package contains?
Who is responsible if the said effect is not attained after using the product - the authority predicting or asserting the effect, or the manufacturer/seller using the said assertion in order to sell her/his product?
Whatever, but the real value didn't get added at all.
But, at times, a particular business does add the real value too.
Again there are two possibilities to where it can lead.
The first, the product package over-mentions the effect of the value added.
It simply amounts to misguiding the consumer.
Like dental creams claiming fighting with the germs for as long as full 12 hours!
Bigger-than-real a claim!
The second possibility is that the business claims exactly as much value as it has added to the product.
This applies to more technical kinds of businesses for which mentioning exact technical value is more a techno-legal compulsion than an awareness of ethics.
We do cheat if we can.
We don't cheat only when we are not able to!
My business is training people in communication skills in English.
I do have my competitors too around in the vicinity in my city.
They all promise total control over and complete fluency in the language in a fix duration of time which they express in the number of hours, e.g. 45, 60 or 90 meaning that by one and a half months, two months or three months respectively.
First of all, expressing months in terms of hours is psychological dishonesty.
Number two, promising a fixed duration in itself is misguiding the consumers, since different people take their different time to master the language at more than one levels, like the structure, the culture, the psychology, and the accent of the language.
Number three, in order to justify their fixed time duration; they prepare syllabi pertaining to the grammar and the vocabulary of the language and make the students cram it within the specified period.

They are not adding the real value to their products.
I don't offer any such product at all.
What I offer is only a process.
People come to me and ask about the duration of my training.
I simply tell them that they have asked a wrong question, because any specific answer to it is bound to be a misguiding one. Language is not a piece of information that you can digest in a fixed duration of time. It's rather an art that you need ingesting, and that too in the most organic way without ever cramming a single word of it.
Others also lure them with a free lifetime membership of the program which again is a misguiding value added to their product, as their experience has told them that the trainees get so bored of their system of training that they never come again back to it.
And if someone still does, they simply don't attend her/him well and thus psychologically dissuade her/him from coming there again.
And then they think they are the winners.
They are the winners since they earn a lot of money by fooling people around!
I get the quality people as my trainees, they get the quantity!
What should we do with our business on earth so that it doesn't make a fool of us any more?
I again propose the same what I did for career: changing the entire business scenario throughout the world by detaching it from its rewards in terms of money and status.
But what will happen of the entire commercial structure of our society then?
And how will human society ever get us as the spare parts of its war machinery fighting an unethical war against nature in order to subordinate nature to humanity?
A war against its own natural self!
Our business structure is violating nature at each and every step as well as at each and every level ruining the whole environment around on this planet.
I will certainly propose some more things too in the domains of money, status, politics and management, so that they go hand in hand with my proposal to change the whole scenario upside down.
Let me do what I am made to do as my passion.
Do not force me to do what pays me the best - that is what the basic corruption is!
If I do what I am made to do, I will do it the best as well as the most honest way.
If I do it the best, the overall quality of life on earth will improve.
Now please do not tell me that what I am doing as my business is less important for humanity than something else that someone else is doing.
Everything is equally important for mankind here on earth!
What matters is how good I do it and how free my passion keeps me!
