I know that this might sound really ridiculous but don’t you just hate it when on the Sopranos or some other American shows that feature Italian cultura that they refer to Tomato sauce as Gravy!
I know I’ve mentioned it to a few of my Italian friends (the ones that aren’t under indictment) (just kidding!!!!) and they all agree that it sounds really stupid. Either way I suppose it’s not that important in the grand scheme of the world but I thought it deserved at least a minor rant on my behalf.

My brother married an Italian lady - those people have their family values more traditionally preserved as compared to their western counterparts in Europe.
Again, I have an Italian friend who lives and works in Ireland, but when it comes to the question of culture, he simply laughs at Ireland and holds that of Italy way up in sophistication.
Italian culture is easily visible in the Roman ruins in the country, the precepts of the Roman Catholic Church, the spirit of the Renaissance and the Enlightenment, the architecture.
It can also be tasted in Italy's food.
Fashion is another important part of Italian society.
Music and dance have always traditionally remained one of the great cultural markers of the Italian society.
Italian literature began after the founding of Rome in 753 B.C.
Roman Catholicism is the major religion of Italy.
