Jungle Adventure

Christopher Biggins is back from the jungle and enjoying the little luxuries in life - like hot water.

The actor won ITV reality show I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here, beating Janice Dickinson, the self-proclaimed "world's first supermodel".

He was given the Bushtucker Bonanza on his final trial in Australia, and was asked to eat witchetty grub, a crocodile's foot, three cockroaches, a kangaroo penis, and the final dish - kangaroo testicles.

The King of the Jungle was quizzed by reporters as he walked the red carpet at the Comedy Awards in London this week.

Asked what the first thing was that he did when he came out, he replied: "Had a glass of champagne and a bath.

"I missed my bed, I missed towels, and I missed hot water - but apart from that it was fabulous," he enthused.

Adventure Blog Comment:

What for other animals is a natural habitat becomes jungle adventure for us.

It's only because we have gone a little bit too much accustomed to gardens in our cities.

We have severed our connection with the real lap of the mother earth and developed gardens to compensate for the missing feeling that this distance from our natural self inflicts us with.

Not only that, we have even converted our beautiful natural jungles into the ugly concrete ones.

And we have done this a little bit too much of it!

And then we go into them wherever they are left unpolluted on earth, and call it an adventure.

In fact, everything natural has gone adventurous for us by now!
