Hulk Hogan: I just pray that things get better for my family:
December 11, 2007
NEW YORK (AP) — It's been a rough year for Hulk Hogan and family.
The celebrity wrestler's wife, Linda, has filed for divorce after 24 years of marriage, and the couple's 17-year-old son, Nick Bollea, is facing charges of reckless driving after an Aug. 26 crash in Clearwater, Fla., that left a friend critically injured.
"I'm leaning into the wind," Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, told syndicated TV entertainment show Access Hollywood on Monday. "I'm trying to stay very, very positive. You know, I just pray that things get better for our family."
"As far as my son goes, we're going to be very happy when the truth really comes out of what really (happened), instead of all the speculation and all the mentality that's going on," Hogan, 54, said. "As far as my divorce goes, I love my family and I love my wife to death and I just don't know what tomorrow's going to bring."
When asked about a possible reconciliation with his wife, Hogan said: "There's always a chance. You can never say never."

"Keep my family safe" begs mum:
December 11, 2007
The mother of three children who survived being stabbed by their own father cried as she gave details in the Lower Hutt District Court of the frenzied attack early this year.
Fa'anamu Milford was sentenced to 15 years in jail for wounding with intent, causing grievous bodily harm to his three children and kidnapping their mother in Naenae in February. The court was told he stabbed the children in a rage because he thought their mother was having an affair. His former partner called Milford depraved for stabbing his own flesh and blood and begged the judge to keep her family safe.
The mother wept throughout her impact victim statement, and was at times incoherent.
She said she was all but destroyed as a person, but her real fear is for her children.
She says they suffer violent flashbacks and constant nightmares their father will return to kill them, and she feels she has blood on her hands as she should have left her partner earlier.
The defence says tests show Milford is bordering on being intellectually disabled and he is now relieved his children are still alive.
Family Blog Comment:
This is what happens to the feeling of 'my-family' with the passage of time that kills all the romanticism attached with the concept when real life gives its harsh blows to it!
Does family blog need saying anything more than the three different stories are in themselves saying depicting the chronological graph of the full spectrum of the feeling of oneness with the family?
It's as bitter at times as it is sweet at others till its romanticism stays alive.
In case it hasn't gone bitter, it does tend to go dull in its shine.
Can't we search for some other way than marriage to relate to our loved ones, a way that keeps our passion alive forever and also that doesn't narrow down our concern for the world around?
