Educating for Life

It can make the kid or it can mar her/him as well, for life!

In order to educate children in the art and the science of life, we do need being a master of it.

Are we?

I doubt if we on earth are!

We live our life under tensions, stresses, beliefs (false!), anxieties, thrill of emotional excitements and bouts of depression.

We are no more curious for life.

But the child is!

We are no more, easy with life.

But the child is!

We take life as a challenge.

But the child takes it as a game. S/he wants to play!

We are stuck up with morals.

But the child is not!

Age has turned us to be emotional fools - we are either scared or greedy of life, in a very cunning way.

But the child is passionate - although s/he is also scared and greedy of life; but not in a cunning, rather in a very ignorant way!

So, if we look at it; our bringing up doesn't do any good to our inborn fears and avarices, it only turns us a cunning being from an ignorant one.

And that is what we pass on to our young ones in the name of parenting.

We give them morals.

We give them more fears.

We turn them greedier.

We sow the seeds of ambition in them.

We rob them of their curiosity and turn them anxious.

We rob them of their playfulness and turn them into disciplined robots sitting quiet in the boring classroom.

And then we, in conspiracy with the teachers in the school, feed mechanical information into their creative brains in the most non-creative manner turning these delicate brains into insensitive, cunning minds.

What we, at the end of the day, come up with is ignorance turned into cunningness along with fears and avarices multiplied manifolds!

Wow, we have ultimately been successful in creating (!) our own kind on earth - a scared and greedy scoundrel!

That is what our parenting does to our kids.

And that is why life on earth has perpetually and perennially been maintaining being the hell it right now is!

Our parenting is responsible for its continuance.

Do we really mean continuing it?

Or do we genuinely feel there is a need to break through this vicious circle somehow, somewhere?

But how and where?

Now and here!

At least let us do something today that our kids live a heaven here tomorrow!

Can we give them a free hand with nature?

The nature out there in the world and the nature in here in the mind!

Let the two interact in the most spontaneous way.

Let us stop giving them instructions.

How do we know that our instructions are the ultimate truth on earth?

They may be the biggest lies of life; which, in all probability, they are!

So, shall we stop interfering in between the interaction of the nature and the developing brain?

Our responsibility is there only supplying them with the knowledge of human history concerning growth and development as well as falling back and stagnation in each and every field of human action; and that too, without any value judgment about the same.

Let the child's discretion work on its own - it will turn her/him into a real adult; which we could never be, unfortunately.

Let the child develop into a free-spirited, free-minded, and a creatively responsible adult on her/his own!

Parenting becomes so easy if we let things go as they naturally are!

I propose training both, mothers as well as fathers, in the science and the art of parenting before they give birth to their first child.

It will be something akin to the science and the art of life as such.

I also propose making it mandatory for the parents before they start bringing up their kids.

But then, who will be the trainers?

And where shall we find them on earth?

Do we have an enough supply of the wo/men of knowledge and insight on this planet?

I don't think we have.

There can be no qualification for insight.

Can there be something else then, which does the job?

Something else that wakes us up from our eons of slumber that we have been dozing in and letting our planet go to hell!

I propose the mankind walking through a virtual reality machine and changing itself from top to toe in one single hour individually.

Something like the magic wand of the fairy tales in between the sky and the earth!

Even an airplane was a magic wand for the human imagination once!
