Parenting Blog: Positive Parenting
I just don't know what the concept of this positive parenting is!
Parenting is either good or bad.
Is good parenting to be called the positive one?
But then this word positive - coming from the echelons of the motivational management world - has different connotations altogether.
By that token, positive merely means suppressing the negative or bad inside you and masking it with its opposite reaction, i.e., a fake goodness which is nothing but your artificial and egotist moral self.
If you are so positive inside why do you need practicing it out so loud?
And if you are not, no one on earth can turn you so until you resolve your negativity inside, not by positive masking but by melting the negativity away which simply will make you natural - neither negative nor positive.
In fact, what we need on earth is natural parenting and not a positive one!
I propose training both, mothers as well as fathers, in the science and the art of parenting before they give birth to their first child.
It will be something akin to the science and the art of life as such.
I also propose making it mandatory for the parents before they start bringing up their kids.
But then, who will be the trainers?
And where shall we find them on earth?
Do we have an enough supply of the wo/men of knowledge and insight on this planet?
I don't think we have.
There can be no qualification for insight.
Can there be something else then, which does the job?
Something else that wakes us up from our eons of slumber that we have been dozing in and letting our planet go to hell!
