Online relationships are good for online interactions only. The moment you turn them offline by personally meeting the person, you get a shock of your life.
Why?
Simply because you had already made a mental picture of the person concerned, and the reality never matches imagination!
Imaginations are absolute; reality is never a straight line as such.
When you imagine, you always imagine an ideal person.
But when you meet, you meet someone with all the human vices along with all the virtues s/he has.
You only want virtues and never the vices.
And that is what is an impossible thing to get.
So you get frustrated and the relationship suffers.
