The complex weaving of relationships that our social structure is, keeps its skeleton standing upright, tight.
But the problem starts showing when this skeleton goes so tight that it loses all its resilience along.
It tends to turn us stiff and rigid in our social interactions.
We start taking people, not as people, but as relations; and as tags that these relations attach with them.
So, my boss becomes my boss before s/he is a human being for me.
I want to trick her/him into noting me down in her/his good books.
My spouse and my kids become more my spouse and more my kids than they are my fellow humans on earth having their independent creative existence in life.
I want to control them and manipulate them rather than listening to the screaming voice of their inner passion.
My interviewer in an interview for a job I want looks only an interviewer to me sitting on the right side of the table and never a fallible human being who I could curiously interact with too!
Only if I knew that s/he too was as naked under her/his clothes as I was!
I would have been a master in the art of facing interviews - exceptionally excellent!
Even my girl/boyfriend looks more a date to me than a person with all the fears, worries, dreams, desires, excitement and passion for life.
I don't love her/him. I want to win her/him rather.
Have An Eye-opening Story To Tell About Your Relationships?
We start looking at people from over their clothes so much so that their clothes in themselves become their ultimate reality to us.
We forget that, in fact, it is their naked body inside their clothes that their basic reality is.
We start living in a world of mechanical interactions surrounded by their tags around us; and we forget what humans, without their tags, look like.
We become so engrossed with them that we lose our touch with the humanity around.
We also lose our touch with the spontaneity inside.
We take this smooth mechanical functioning from our life to our head.
Our head turns mechanical too.
Mind turns into a machine.
But life is not a mere mechanical system requiring only smoothness and comfort in its matrix.
It rather requires the insecurity of creative suspense into its involving dynamic fabric.
Or else it goes lifeless, dull, mechanical and boring; always keeping craving for the artificial thrill and excitement through loud entertainment, or narcotic drugs, or unnatural sex, or violence and crime!
Can we keep the crisscross of routine interactions in our life limited to where it actually belongs, i.e., only up to the routine functioning of life and not beyond that?
What lies beyond the routine functioning of life?
Human interaction!
Unconditional human interaction!
Not for a motif!
Just for the heck of it!
Our associations have a past as well as a future. Interaction has neither.
So, without any past and without any future of such a total interaction!
But why!
Because that is what gives life its meaning that we call love and passion for it!
This is what the joy of life is.
Without it, all the thrill and excitement ultimately turn into tensions and worries only.
When joy is, peace comes along.
Also come power and passion for it!
Earth turns heaven, and life turns a pleasure trip into it.
I propose adding another organic dimension to our mechanical life beyond the drudgery of linear relationships into it.
The dimension of unconditional interaction without any motif of a gain or a purpose!
Life is not only what its purpose is.
It has many more undiscovered streams flowing through it.
Drink the water of each and dive into the waters of all!
The freshness that comes from tasting new dishes can never be had from even the best of your favorite ones.
An urge to taste again what we like the most simply turns us greedy.
But the readiness to taste new turns us passionately curious and creative.
After all we are taking a risk to taste, which we don't know what it is like!
Isn't it an adventure in itself?
And doesn't it turn us fearless in our actions?
Greed and fear are the two sides of the same coin.
When we go fearless, we turn greedless too!
And only then can we taste something new in its totality without any old taste lingering in our mouth in our fears of our dislikes or in our greed of our likes!
This is the adventure that turns us from a mechanical robot to a creative human guided by the passion of interaction.
It is then that life presents to us the newest of its tastes - every moment anew!
Do you feel things should change in life, on earth?
