Scene of Education

Scene of Education

Hello, buddy. Let me say something about the scene of education that each one of us has to undergo. Actually our education system is corrupt and doesn't have quality. What I did up to my school level was that whenever I needed learning anything new, I didn't cram it. In fact, I was unable to do so. I always tried to get the meaning of everything but I failed. None of my teachers could have given the answers because they only knew how to teach and not how to solve real-life problems. It was MY duty to get the things and if I wasn't getting, it was MY fault.

I was a science student. When I was in my 12th standard, my physics teacher didn't even know the meanings of anything science! She was there only to vomit out what was written in the book, as such. So I couldn't get the ABC of physics. I always raised my hand for asking my doubts in the class but she couldn't answer my queries ever. Instead she used to say that teaching was the toughest job to do. If I were she, I would never have said such crap!

Same happened with me in the college. In my college, new pass-outs were appointed as lecturers in almost all the subjects. What they did was they studied their lectures first and then came to the class. When i asked any questions to them, they either beat about the bush or straight-forward avoided them; and my classmates went impatient with me because I was always in a mood to get things clear.

But, alas, it was never to happen.

This is what the scene of education is!

Now, at last, my college is over but I do not have any real knowledge. I am a computer professional but I don't have the full knowledge of my subject. My fault is that I never tried to get things on my own.

But the main thing is that our education needs a total revamp.

Yes Rahul, teaching is a job of utmost responsibility...

And, unluckily, we are anything but responsible.

Even learning is no less a responsibility.

Are we, as students, responsible too?

Or the fault, totally, lies with the system only?
